Born in 1969, Erkoreka studied first with Carmelo
Bernaola in his native Bilbao, before entering the Royal Academy of
Music in London, where he now lives. At the RAM, Erkoreka studied
with Michael Finnissy and in 1997/98, was Fellow of Composition.
