Founded in 1993 under the direction of conductor Philip Headlam and pianist/composer Douglas Finch, this will be the second appearance of The Continuum Ensemble in the Cutting Edge series. The programme will include only the second live performance of Judith Weir's beautiful song cycle The Voice of Desire with mezzo-soprano Ruby Philogene, as well as premieres by Luke Bedford, Larry Goves, Kenneth Hesketh and Mark-Anthony Turnage.
